You guys have a lot of fucking posts

Rizzo:
I've only been logged in for 17 days in five and a bit years so I feel vindicated that I'm not a complete sellout. I've also left a couple of times so who knows. In saying that, I often feel there's not that much to say or that much worth saying on a lot of threads. The majority of threads in most subs aren't really things I'm into so I more or less only stay for the people.

Kugai:
Depends on how often you Post.

Hey, I've been here since '06 and only just recently cracked the 2000 Post barrier.

The Seldom Killer:
I've just been over to another forum I occaisionally frequent and the top poster there has almost 47000 posts in a little under four years. Frightening really, although punnage and spree posting is a part of the culture there.

In comparison, this place is nice and slow and I really like that, give you more time to take things in and enjoy more of what people have to say. Mind you, I do enjoy a drunken, wikipedia fuelled fish pun fight from time to time.

Hairy Joe Bob:
Hey I've been here 7 and a bit years and I'm only on about 1600 posts. I think that's good...

ZJGent:
I am constantly amazed at how low my postcount is - I feel like I spend a considerable dollop of my time on these forums, considerable enough certainly to warrant more posts than the digit displayed to the left of this post. I do tend to keep my more trivial trivia to the Meebo though - so I would certainly agree that the presence of a chat forum keeps the post-per-day in check.

I do worry, in my more egocentric and pessimistic moments, that the real reason that I don't appear on anyone's list of "strong boarders" is that I am incapable of making a lasting impression and that my presence here is barely notable. Thankfully I don't remedy this with self-serving threads about myself - the darker moods of self-interest often pass quickly with me remembering about the spectacular times I had with forum members in for'n parts and the memorable hijinks that ensued (though that is probably a remark best saved for expansion in the 'Board Theory' thread).
