I wonder how it makes allowances for things that change over time, like hair length or death or ageing? I assume it won't be around for decades but I'm sure that some of the people in its questions will change during its lifetime.

Well I imagine that if a person grows out their hair, then there will be a corresponding influx of different answers from people playing that character on Akinator. It'll probably be buggy for a while but eventually the new correct answer will replace the old one.
