Halo was in development a while back. Apparently there was a lack of finances or something and they made District 9 instead.

Wow. Thank god for that. I mean, a Halo movie could be pretty good, if they pull it off, but I loved District 9. Does anyone know if it's getting a sequel? The cliffhanger ending sort of demanded one.
