Having seen her no less than 27 times last night..she always has the same look on her face: confused, and at the same time, a little bit offended.
The manager of the Los Angeles Angels has the same expression. The technical term may as well be "Mike Scoscia face".

I'm embarassed to say that the first time I saw him was in his first Harry Potter movie - after associating him with Dumbledore, it was a bit of a jolt to see him as such a thorough asshole in Gosford Park.

Ha! You should see him in 'The Singing Detective' or even better 'The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover'.

Really? Are most foreign filmed dubbed rather than subbed over there? That's a damn shame, it is. As for the movie itself, I loved it, but it beating The Social Network was a damn shame, regarding both best director and picture. Although I wouldn't have minded if Geoffrey Rush had beat Christian Bale (but both were excellent, and I'm glad one of them one).
Barmymoo:
I'd only been in the country for a week at that point - I am now older and wiser and aware that not only are films shown in English and subbed, they are also retitled (still in English though) to be more appealling to the French audience.
Therefore we have "No Strings Attached", which French viewers would call "Sex Friends". We have "Made in Dagenham", or as the French like to say, "We Want Sex Equality". It is rather bizarre.
Inlander:
So what you're saying is that the French manage to find and promote the sex angle in everything?
