If you do plan on watching all of the Monogatari series then I'd suggest watching them in the order they aired rather than the chronological order.

I didn't even know there was a difference in this case; Bake-, Nise-, Neko- is the order I'm aware of.
Of course, I don't know yet if I'll go through the lot - it seems hard to judge from the hugely varying reactions to the fan-service element.
