I'm hoping Veronica's little CoD visit leads to (at some point, it's only been a couple days, after all ...) some sort of conversation between Marten and Dora.  Not a makeup/relationship reset, but them being willing to talk to each other, or even just be in the same room, to keep the social circle from fracturing too much / keep Faye from feeling too awkward about the whole thing.

Marten wouldn't let things get awkward between his friends. He seems like the kinda guy that could fade into the background were he not the main character, instead he is the voice of reason, so if it came down to hanging between his friends hanging out with him or they had made plans to do something with Dora, he'd tell them to go hangout with Dora. But I do think that things might be awkward between himself and Dora for a while yet. There could be a couple of weeks yet before he purposefully goes to see Dora (accidently is another matter, and from what I can tell, thats not exactly the largest town, so they will be bound to run into each other eventually).

And what is *not* going to CoD for coffee?

I have absolutely no idea how Marten and Doras next meeting will look like.
