Sharp:
Am I the only one who's surprised that Faye and Marten found this so awkward? They've joked about sex and relationships with eachother before, I mean wasn't one of Marten's running gags answering with "Sweet! Lets' bang!" ?

Carl-E:
Yes, it was, but a great deal has changed since then.  In particular, there was that talk, and two other relationships, and enough growth and development on Faye's part (has Marten really changed at all?) to squeeze a whole new person between where she started and where she is now.

But yeah, it was a poorly timed and sad attempt at humor from a guy who's wayyy  off his game.  No harm, no foul, just a moment of awkward.

Yes, I am making this up.

Minute steak comes from really tiny cows.

Or cows that can be armed and ready to fight at a minute's notice!

Staffles? Sounds like a German word. Or a Dutch word. But waffles themselves are Belgian which isn't too far off so I guess it makes sense. Are all waffles Belgian? If they are then why do we only call Belgian waffles as such? Wouldn't all waffles be Belgian waffles? And where does steak originally come from?

/stream of conciousness

it doesnt sound like anything out of this region (yes an actual dutchman here ;P), it really just sounds like an english word...which you just invented
we dont really have a prominent group of words that end on -es, its translated as wafel here
if you fuse our word for steak (biefstuk) with wafel it just sounds odd....

belgians are better known for their fries and political crisis anyway...here at least, their really thick unlike french fries

and you really should've payed attention in school....steak comes from a cows ass, what else?

I think i just want to see marten flying across the room like pintsize did a few comics back, and then have hannelore do marten's part in the fuzzy confusion comic which follows
