wax off.

The family joke is that all the hair slid off my head and down my back.  The time came when my daughters no longer wanted to rub the sunscreen on my back because of all the hair.  Which made me realize I no longer needed  sunscreen on my back, because of all the hair...

So they rub it on the top of my head, instead!

There was a time when I would have felt my masculinity threatened by the prospect of losing the hair on my chest. All 18 of them.

I can understand it, if it was excessive and it lowered your confidence. Then again, I have kinda hairy arms, what I can only describe as a central patch of chest hair and a head full of hair that most likely will only get thicker and stronger as I get older. The only thing I have to worry about my hair is that my barber might get sick of me getting a haircut every couple of weeks  :-P

You're really rubbing the lotion it in, you know :-). I was referring to the tender age, when I was ever so conscious about the fact that removing my shirt in a public place would allow anyone to tell at a glance that I was a babyfaced adolescent as opposed to the burly man that I wanted to be.

Still I won't envy anyone with excessive amounts of bodily hair either. You have to find some way to use them hormones, don't ya?

Haha! I know, its great, my head is never cold in winter, and I save a fortune as I never have to buy a hat, not to mention my hair grows at a ridiculous rate  :-P. But seriously, those areas I mentioned are the only areas that I have hair, but I also know it can be a real killer to go to the beach and not take off your t-shirt because you're afraid people will laugh or look at you funny. Thank god though that time is cyclical, the 80s are apparently back and chest hair is back in fashion.
