I haven't updated my tumblr thing for about three months, but I may do so again in the future when I have times. I am not sure I 'get' tumblr; I thought it was for high-concept blogging. My high-concept blog is Descriptions of Heavy Metal Videos, 'Textual descriptions of the events which occur during various heavy metal music videos.'.

I should definitely get some more done some time.

I have one but I don't use it that much. In Tumblr's defense it is pretty good for art blogs.

I really like tumblr.

I use mine for all original photo work, and occasionally a personal life post or something that I've been a part of. It's more or less the only way I publicly share my work with the exception of a few things on facebook, but honestly I promise I post nice things most of the time.

So basically you should follow it because photos are nice especially since they're original content. plug plug etc

Yeah it seems to me that like everything else, Tumblr is just a cipher and it can be used for good and evil. I feel like Andy and thepopstalinist is doing Tumblr right. It's just another way of blogging, that tends to make cross-media stuff easier than previous blogging platforms like Livejournal. And just like there are brilliant LJ blogs, there are fantastic Tumblrs. There's nothing intrinsic to the site itself, it's just a tool.
