My girlfriend and I delight in playing completely inappropriate artists during these "activities". Such bands have ranged from Slayer (I seem to remember Dora playing Reign In Blood during sex, come to think of it) to Venetian Snares to Agalloch to Adam Lambert to the theme tune from Pokémon. Neither of us are really into the more "traditional" artists to play, like Barry White. I guess you could say we're kinda weird?

Someone needs to link that XKCD comic about not leaving your iPod on shuffle during sex. I had that happen. Seether switched to Weird Al. That was awkward.

To the contrary, using the shuffle function is how many of those bands I mentioned come up in the first place. :-)
