I love it. I discovered Fred and Carrie's Thunderant stuff a couple years ago and that shit just killed me, so when I heard they were getting an actual show I knew it was going to be good. AND LO IT IS, SO FAR

and yeah, helps that fred's like one of my favorite recent SNL alumni

Has anyone been following this show? It's a 6-episode sketch comedy show starring Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein (yes, that Carrie Brownstein, of Sleater-Kinney). I just discovered it today but it's fucking hilarious. They alternate from parodying themselves Flight of the Conchords-style to satirizing everyday Portland stereotypes (hipsters, the unusually large number of strip clubs, etc). As a premise it sounds a little wacky, and the show is strange but extremely hilarious.

You can watch clips at IFC's website but you'll probably have to torrent full episodes, they're not on Hulu or anywhere.

There's another thread with the same title - maybe someone could merge them? :police:

The Aimee man stuff last episode was so good ("Nance - you're being a dumb bitch" good) that it made the rest of the episode feel terribly uneven.

I didn't wanna be the first one to talk about how physically attractive Carrie Brownstein is (because feminisms) so now that's out of the way lemme just say Yowza

The show skipped my mind until the 4 four episodes were already out, but I was glad to have more to watch after how great the first ep was. It's a very niche show I think, but really creative and superb sketch comedy. The Women and Women First Bookstore skits just kill me.
