If you like Feel Good Lost you might dig the band that turned into Broken Social Scene, KC Accidental.
Melodic:
Lo-Fi is just a series of alt recordings that didn't make it onto Forgiveness Rock Record. Still worth checking out though!
Seconding the KC Accidental dig. Also would strongly recommend Rah Rah, who are like a humble small-town version of that band I guess!

Charles Spearin's "The Happiness Project" is pretty boss if you like weird jazz/post-rock played to the tune of peoples' voices talking about life.
