It's nearly as rude as my mom getting married on my 18th birthday in las vegas while I was left in rural nova scotia alone with alcohol. Now my parents celebrate my birthday sort of but mostly just their anniversary so birthday dinners I get to awkwardly sit while they make goo-goo eyes.
