Doctor Online:
Butting into something I hardly know anything about, the talk of whiskey drew me in. I had a horrible experience with it, then again, I was 16 and it was Early Times. The smell to this day (I'm 22) of any whiskey makes me ill, the thought of it makes me ill. I was not aware whiskey had smokey flavors along with fruity. I feel like I have to go out and try these names you guys are throwing around now.

I'm more of a shots of Jäger with some Dr. Pepper on the side kind of gal.

I've heard of this, but my local store doesn't have it in stock.  However, a little effort shows another store that does have it.  I am planning to try it, definitely.

Deadlywonky:
Doc, if the smell of whisky makes you nauseous, can i recommend starting out with an Irish coffee? I've had several friends in your situation and that is the best method to allow them to realise "hey not all whisky tastes like spirit cleaner"(mostly due to necking a bottle aged 15 or so... Tesco basic whisky is a dangerous thing.

The smokiest (the smokey flavour comes from peat used in the manufacturing) are those from Islay, several of which have already been mentioned.

Okay, so no waffles, but more whiskey? ;)

I keed, I keed. I just changed the polls along with whatever claptrap was being thrown out here about the comic. And, usually, I had the last poll of the week be the "moment of the week" from the previous five strips.

I also believe that the Waffles reference is from that Most Serious Comic Of All, 510.
