That's my final choice. Do your worst, Wizard.

--- Quote from: Thomas Edison on 21 Mar 2011, 22:11 ---That game was probably Real Lives, an educational simulator that used reusable registration codes, so that when one code finally made it to the internet, everyone was able to unlock the full simulation. I remember playing as a Japanese business man who fell off a ladder one day and ended up with a permanent limp. I used this as his excuse to fall into drug addiction.

So this sounded interesting and I looked it up, but it just seems to be horribly broken for me. I've downloaded it from multiple sources (including the official website), and while the game runs just fine, all the text is just colored squares, with no way for me to understand at all what is going on. Any suggestions?

I didn't abandon it, it was never meant to be that sort of thread.  I only gave an answer previously to make a point.

Inlander:
I choose to keep my innate resistance to wizard curses.

I mean I've never been cursed by a wizard in my life at all even once, so I assume it's something I possess.

Slick:
At first I thought I wanted to keep all I know about pastry, but actually I think I would prefer to still know how to make and mend bicycles. That is what I would like!
