I'm sunburned
Damnable Fiend:
I got a lot more sun than I should have the other day while skiing (last day of the season). Everywhere on my face except where my goggles were. looks weird.
the worst sunburn I ever had though I remember I was up at 2 am scratching like a crazy person and trying not to scream from frustration. though I think that that was in part because I had a reaction to the anti-sunburn fluid I put on.

My brother once got second-degree burns from sunburn, because the $%^O(*("P swimming pool managers at Futuroscope had a no-sunscreen-in-the-pool rule. The outdoor pool. In the middle of summer. In France.
We had to call an ambulance and he was hospitalised for several days. Happy holidays folks! Don't forget your travel insurance!

That's a pretty silly rule, you'd think health/safety concerns would trump those of pool maintenance. Other western nations seem to have such a lackadaisical approach to sun safety.
