Aside from how literally no one in the thread said anything resembling this, I can't quite get over the correlation of Ben Weasel to "real man". I see what you were trying to go for there, the reference, but Ben Weasel is a skinny bitch person.

I had to import Deerhoof vs Evil from the US because England doesn't really like good music of late. Apparently Beady Eye and the very much anticipated third Subways album is all we care about. Oh, and something about Bloc Party reforming.
Stop the hate on Deerhoof, implement hate on Beady Eye/Oasis.

as a huge fan of Deerhoof, i have to admit that the singer is easily my least favorite part of the group. I mean...that band....they fucking rule....those guys make some of the coolest fucking music i've ever heard.....and then the lady starts shrieking and sometimes it works for me and sometimes it doesn't
it really is kind of a shame because deerhoof's drummer is one of my favorite drummers, like, ever. And that guitar guy is no slouch either.
still love deerhoof though..... it's just that sometimes, just sometimes, i find myself wishing they were an instrumental band
