Poor kid. It's not his fault the casting director picked him. It IS his fault, however, that he can't act his way out of a box.

Something that just came up in my mind was how Mark Strong played an Israeli at some point

and it was actually really convincing in a creepy way

There are plenty of Israelis who weren't born anywhere near Israel and don't look in any way Middle Eastern.

I mean welcoming Jews from all over the world was kind of the whole point of the creation of the country.
