Raven-Knife-Upsidedown?

I was wandering in the archives and came across this little gem http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=799

Who else thinks the sharp side should be down instead of up for maximum damage?

Carl-E:
It goes in just as well either way.  After that, it depends which way you're dragging it...

Ew.

TheEvilDog:
Not to mention that it would probably come down in a curve, with the edge out leading into the would.

Also, nothing indicates that it is a single edge blade, or how thick the blade itself is.

It's pretty clear in the drawing that raven is two-hand weilding a French cook's knife. A fairly heavy and sharp blade for choping and dicing.

The single line that parelles the edge from the handle to the tip shows the sharpened upper edge.

Raven definitly is set up for a plunging stabbing attack. Poor girl. She'll have to pull the knife out for the subsequent attacks.

With the blade down, she could lead off with a good slash and follow up with horizontal attacks.

Until Penelope shows her true Pizza Girl self!

Is it cold in here?:
Or Raven is being clueless.
