I never did get the punch-line it that guest strip.
--- Quote from: DSL on 30 May 2011, 21:48 ---I nominate "Pintsize said the same thing. I hope you're proud of yourself," as line of the week.

Seconded. Even if Steve is joking, it is disturbing to agree with Pintsize about anything.
Border Reiver:
Concur - Pintsize makes me nervous, and I know he's only a character in a comic strip.
sitnspin:
Yes, Steve, cos we totally do it just for your enjoyment.
--- Quote from: Emperor Norton on 30 May 2011, 23:51 ---Ok this is like, the third or fourth post I've seen where you type Tia repeatedly. Its TAI. TAI. Its only written repeatedly in this thread. Also, Just lol Steve. That was, just the kind of thing I would say (though, in my case I wouldn't mean it... seriously all my friends would find that funny, even if it was them in Marten's place).

Thank You! I was just about to post this, it has been bugging since the first post.

Yay! And he didn't even need a 2x4 to notice. Our boy is growing up.
TheEvilDog:
First up, Steve isn't being an asshole to Marten, he's just being a friend. Everyone has one friend like that, the person who makes a little joke about whats happening to someone. The friend who might make fun of you, but who is usually the first one by your side if something terrible happens.
As well as that, if Marten becomes angry at Steve, he isn't going to be angry at Tai, now is he? We all know Marten is a manatee on codeine, but to Steve, Marten is a guy who was recently dumped by his girlfriend, and now has to face the prospect of her dating again (remember, Steve doesn't know how messed up Dora's issues were). To make it worse, Marten knows his boss wants to be the one who goes out with his ex. That can be enough to make anyone angry. So the real question is, are we seeing Steve acting like a jackass, or are we seeing him making sure his friend doesn't do something stupid (and something he will regret) later on?
