It's all-well-and-good that, in the real world, two events can occur at the same time.

However, we are guessing when the other event will actually be presented to us (the audience).

Considering the relativistic properties of Time in a soap-opera comic strip, (nearly 8 years of production has been around 3 years for the characters) Our Stroryteller can give us a snippet of The Party. Show the entire shin-dig or we stay with Dora all of Friday night. Then Dora open's the shop Saturday morning with Faye, Raven, Hanners, et al all suffering from massive hangovers.....

This thread is simply about silly speculation of events we have no control over.

Have you ever read Heinline's The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress?  Manny compare's the complaints of the prisoners to a bunch of kittens in a box. We are those kittens.

This is fictional bets on what we would like to see.  What Mr. Jacques decides to do and when is totally up to him and we will enjoy every moment of it!

I have a similar situation at my workplace: it's called "confinement relativistic time dilation". You think something is taking longer than it should, simply because you have no way of knowing how much time has elapsed.

And it's complement: "Time Flies When You're Having Fun".

Carl-E:
As you get older, you realize that time flies whether you're having fun or not.

It only creeps when you're waiting...

mike837go:
Creeps in the waiting room?
