What does "PonyLeaks" mean?

I had always wondered where the "Serious Pony" part came from. Other than a one-time reference in the comic from Faye (wanting a pony), I think?

The sub forum called "awkward self-aware makeout zone" [now called CHATTER] has for some years been the preferred Internet meeting point of a group of people who mainly met on the Internet (in a different forum originally).  They occasionally have get-togethers in real life (maybe travelling across the world to do so), and some of them live together and some have long-term relationships.  The core of this group have over the past few weeks been moving much of their Internet interaction to a new forum that one of them has set up, so the character of that part of this forum is starting to change; note that this is my observation only - I am not part of that group (though I have joined their new forum), and so cannot speak for them.

Probably just a drunken whimsy of Jeph's.  Before that it was the Sexy-Dad's Discussion Forum (for just one day), and I don't recall what before that.

March 2008 is around the time that Jeph started to get really fed up with the forums, and from Mar 2009 he became nearly inactive in them.  The Dec 2010 change followed the storm that appeared in this forum around the breakup.  This quote shows Jeph's mood at the start of the changes:

In October 2011 I changed the title to the current: QC & Ponyleaks Discussion Forum
This was to keep a link to the past while moving towards normality.
In June 2013 I finally reverted the title to simply: QC Discussion Forum
