Was it Jupiter or Saturn. Sources disagree.

Prefer Saturn/Iapetus myself, but it's 1 1/2 movies vs. one book, and then Sir Arthur used Jupiter from then on, in "2010," "2061" and "3001." Dangit.

Yep, Sir Arthur used the J. In those wiki articles you linked, there's a section about I vs. J. No wonder Ol' Red Eye went meshuganah.
