I thought it was great the way the writers made you absolutely hate Esther with a passion because she was so useless.

i never got to the end, think I gave up after the lady doctor got bumped off, but they did seem to make absolutely every character unlikable. Which is quite an achievement in a scripted television show that focuses on the 'good guys'

The lady doctor was about the only halfway likeable character in the series, IMHO.
