Comic Discussion > QUESTIONABLE CONTENT

Maybe we shouldn't ask "why" questions about Pintsize, but I've got one

Is it cold in here?:
It's a question my wife came up with. It's a good question: after all, Pintsize doesn't put Marten's underwear in the sink covered with motor oil.

My wife is the one who suggested the jealousy angle.

idontunderstand:
Because she reacts, I guess. Marten just kind of rolls over, what's the humor in that?  :|

DSL:
Hell, the little tin boob terrorist is besotted with the Pugnacious Peach. Right from the first strips in which she said popping a CD out of one's torso was the "CUTEST. THING. EVAR."   (5). Even if all he could do is let her play with his ethernet port (8 ).

He just wants her attention, and is seeking it by being persistent and obnoxious despite being thrown bodily across the room, kind of like another character we know.

This strikes me as a crack pairing of epic proportions.

Honestly, I think Pintsize is a sort of commentary on the overly sexualized view our culture has, esp towards women. However, he seems to have boundaries. While I remember incidences of him making sexual jokes about Faye and Dora I can't remember him making any about Hanners. (although there was that time he bribed her with pictures of sexy firemen.)

DSL:
Where Pintsize sees the other human cast members as "them," I'd bet he sees Hanners as an "us."
