The unusual combination of black hair and blue eyes has drawn attention in the strip before. It runs in the family.

Type of mustelid, not weasel. :x Same family, same subfamily, different genus. Martens are as closely related to badgers as they are to weasels.

I noticed it when rereading the strip a while back and noticed most of the cast have brown eyes.

Method of Madness:
I am terrible at remembering eye color. Looking back at the few girls I've dated, I looked at their eyes plenty, and probably thought they were nice, but I haven't the foggiest what color any of them had.
