I have a friend (who isn't a member of these forums) who'll be visiting there between the 12th and the 16th of September. She's looking for stuff to do whilst she's there. She'd especially like to hear about any gigs taking place.

Uh Umphrey's McGee is playing in Northampton on the 16th, if they're into that sort of thing. I'm driving out from Boston to go see.

Northampton is like a miniature version of Portland, there's a lot of coffee shops and vegan places that are pretty cool.

Tell her to go hang out with the hipsters at Smith College. I spent a lot of summers there just walking from place to place. Stalk down whatshisfacetheguywhowrotewatchmen he lives there.
