Damnit George!
Lupercal:
And I was about to try and prove everyone here wrong by saying "But Lucas released the second standalone DVDs back in 2004 that clearly state both the theatrical and remastered versions are included!"
But apparently it is the re-release version, alongside the 2004 version. So you've got Star Wars circa 1997, and Star Wars circa 2004. Now we've got Star Wars circa 2011, and all we want is what hardly any of us actually SAW to begin with (I've certainly never seen the "originals").
I just want to know why Lucas is suddenly making Vader all aurally emotive. Pretty sure that killing the Emperor scene was good enough without saying "No" twice. Its ridiculous enough in Episode III, it doesn't need to be in my favourite Star Wars movie either.
Lucas just make the fucking TV series already and leave the films the fuck alone. You want to do with $1 million what you usually do with $20 millioin? Simple - scale it down, cut half the CGI shit, use some models and/or puppets (you used to be fairly good at that shit) and just get on with it instead of looking back at things that don't need changing.
RAGE LUCAS RAGE

PA predicted this shit back in 2004, and I thought they were joking...
Clearly they are future master time travelers, and I should pay them more attention for planning my life.

They've been right about George's potential madness more than twice. But as you said, whatever.
