On another note, I am very glad Tumblr keeps track of reblogs, because I had to trace this back through three different tumblrs to find the unabridged version.
On another another note, 'unabridged' has a really unintuitive meaning. You'd think you'd use a bridge to expand something, not shorten it. 'Attenuating' is also one, since it makes me think of paying attention to something.

Considering one cat we had always brought his kills back to the house, specifically the deck patio door, I'd be willing to believe it. He brought everything from birds to rabbits to even a mink (that was still alive and fighting him) to the door to eat them.
And amusingly enough, mom told him to stop bringing dead stuff back to the door, and the cat listened...he started bringing his kills to another door.

Fun fact: a hourse cat is one of the most lethal killers in the animal kingdom and one of the few other species that kills for fun.
