I'm not going to take anything away from the guy's moves because they are awesome, but I think the otherworldly feel comes from speeding up and slowing down the video and then syncing up the beats of his movement to the beats of the music. What I can't tell is whether he planned the routine to the music, or whether he just freestyled then worked out the music mix to fit the routine. Probably a bit of both. However it was done, it's an amazing display of skill and creativity!

You think so? I thought that might be it but every so often you can see a car go by in the reflection on the doors and it looks like normal speed. I'm going to choose to believe that someone, somewhere, is really this awesome.
