Same here, but after 40 years of listening, it's not blowing my mind anymore.
What once was new and radical is now predictable, and seems to be part of the natural progression -- especially after so many referenced them!

Of course, this is also true of Schoenberg, Bartók, Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Purcell, Byrd, Tallis, Hildegard...

Nothing in music is original anymore. Same with art. Not saying that people aren't creative, but chances are that whatever is "new" references something else and is by no means going to be a new revolution because it's already been done before.
That sounds really pessimistic, but when you're talking about the rules of music, it's all been done. It may sound different, but there's something in it that has been done before.
