I wonder if I'll ever have dual citizenship somewhere.

Someone told me I could actually try applying for U.S. Citizenship as my Mother, while living all her life in England, was actually born in the U.S. and still had a U.S. Birth Certificate

Not sure I ever believed them, and it's a bit late now as she died around 2010.

These days, why would you even want it?   And AFAIK, it doesn't matter if she's gone, as long as you're the sprog.

It does save trouble if you're going to the US.
The other passport is useful for everywhere else in the world.
