Photos can be pretty cool

I applied Firebug and muddled through until I found a .jpg. Posting photos here has been a problem for me.
In an Army barracks in South Dakota in the late 1950s, a buddy and I stayed up late one night going through magazines such as Life and Time, looking at photos and ads (adverts?) of women and characterizing each as "cute", "pretty" or "beautiful." I can't imagine I'd apply the same standards now I did 50-plus years ago, but your daughter is clearly a beauty, your stepdaughter-in-law was certainly cute.

Paul- great shots! the photo of you and your daughter is beautiful. Her dress is gorgeous and you look so dapper!
Linds- I am SO with you on the poofy sleeves. Nick and I went to the fair yesterday and got our (4th) caricature done. The same lady does them every year and we told her that we're using this year's drawing in our wedding somewhere, so she put us in "wedding attire", meaning that Nick got a bow tie and I've got poofy sleeves. :-P I'll post a pic of it when I get home from work so you can all see the hilariousness. :wink:

Naw, not enough time and the temp at their arrival was about 80. You two get out here by Sunday for a repeat; hoping for three more as well. Hey, it's only an 11-12 hour drive!
And it was awesome to meet up with May and Eed.
You've heard of southerners seeing their first snow in the north? I've never been present at such an event. But May saw her first hummingbirds Saturday.
