Man, I am finding this storyline interesting, despite tangential experiences with wild fauna.

I do hope that Marten hooks up with Padma.  A little brown poured into the sea of white love is an excellent idea.  (Can I say this and have it taken as a personal preference, and not as a political statement?  I won't bad mouth one of my favorite strips if it DOESN'T happen...)

(I hate feeling the need to be politically correct.)

If you had given any other reason (even just to note that Jeph has started along that line), that would be one thing.  However, you stated your interest in this pairing purely in terms of colour, and I'm afraid that remains unacceptable in spite of what you said around it.
