I would even go one step further and theorize that Marten was the one who initiated it (his hands are already stroking her cheek!). Also, I thought Hanners "YELLLING" to be really funny somehow.

But her hand is on the back of his head, pulling/holding him close, and with her body language in the previous panels she's definately ready to make a move. Marten, for once in his life, actually read the signals right.
