That is a really awful way of phrasing it. :\ "Mixed-race" is generally one of those incredibly dodgy terms used primarily with disdain by racists.

Or s/he's just an ironic internet racist. Either one, really.

I though he was making a pun on the word "race," in this case meaning "species." In which case, ew.

Observation and comment are not the same as judgement or bigotry; many PC fanatics would be easier to respect if they showed some understanding of this.
