I found this music through this thread, basically, since I downloaded the PS Eliot album posted earlier and really liked it and then found out this band toured with them. They used to be called Hop Along, Queen Ansleis, but they've now shortened it to Hop Along (a move I think is a good one).

Folky acoustic guitar, with stuff like toy pianos, trash percussion, kazoos. This is still when it was Frances Quinlan solo. I am bad at describing things and I can't find any good reviews so here is a link instead:

This an a 3-song (though about 25 minute) EP. It is longer/jammier and featers more standard rock instrumentation (guitar, second guitar, drums). Quinlan's singing style sounds a little different to me, so if you find her vocals annoying this might be better.
