Figured I'd put some stuff up for you guys.
Trifonic - Remergence EP
Fantastic downtempo/trip-hop-y electronica. If you got their full-length album (
Emergence) when it went up on this thread you have a good idea of what to expect. It's really, really, really good. These guys are some of my favorites, and I have returned to their music again and again. Highly recommended.

Lucky Strike - Tha ThesisSo if you're like me, you had your mind blown a little bit the first time you ever listened to Girl Talk's
Night Ripper (at least, if, like me, you'd never heard anything quite like that before), but you then found that it got kinda old pretty quickly. The whole cut-and-paste approach to making "sound-collage" dance music is really cool the first few times you listen to an album (because you're always like "oh, wow, that was a clever mix ... hey, I recognize that song ... wow, I didn't expect that," etc.) but doesn't really hold up to repeated listens. Well, this album is as good of an example of this style of music as I've ever heard, and right now I'm in my honeymoon period of listening to it and it's sounding really fresh and cool and fun. Lucky Strike is an extremely talented manipulator of popular music (and he has good taste), and I don't know if I'll be listening to this album this time next year, but right now I'm enjoying the hell out of it.
Basically, if you've ever enjoyed a Girl Talk album, this is perfect for you. The first track alone samples Beastie Boys, Hercules and Love Affair, Crystal Castles, "Throw Some D's," "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and The Electric Slide, to give you a sense of what you're in for.

Hallucinogen - In Dub (Mixed by Ott)
From Discogs
I think its a misconception to think of this release as a remix cd. Hallucinogen - In Dub, the name says it all, is in my opinion a dub, down-tempo re-interpretation of Hallucinogen's classical Goa soundscape, which is quite an ambitious task considering the classical status of his trance albums. But with Ott joining on to the project with Simon it's bound to hit the mark, smash it and recreate it with new structures of sonic brilliance.
Deep sonic soundscapes mingle with dub basslines to create massive moments. Nostalgic moments from Hallucinogen's trance tunes come back to me but in a warm, lush, dubby melodies. Ideal for listening after you've listened to a Hallucinogen CD, it will feel like an extension of the trip on the dance floor. A magical journey built on the moods and concepts of previous works to perfectly complement each other into another whole.
A must have if you like Shpongle and the rest.
Really sweet groovy trippy laid-back weed-shmokin' music. Any familiarity with either Ott or Hallucinogen will basically inform you as to whether or not you'll enjoy this album.
