Figured I'd throw up a couple things that have impressed me recently.
Ancestors - Neptune With Fire

It's not often nowadays that I find really good heavy psychedelic rock of the kind I've come to love, but this album is really satisfying me. It's only 2 songs (one 16 minutes, one 21 minutes), but there's a LOT of majesty packed into them ... the first two bands I'd compare Ancestors to are Earthless and Mammatus, and I love both those bands, so this stuff is right up my alley. Heavy, doom-laden psychedelic odysseys both, the two tracks on this album are choice, and I look forward to the next I hear from these guys. If you're going to like this, you probably know who you are (and you probably knew as soon as you saw the album cover).
Shogun Kunitoki - Vinonaamakasio

This sounds a bit like if Black Moth Super Rainbow decided to make an instrumental post-rock album. (I'll let that sink in.) Yeah, it's that good, even without the talkbox vocals. This is the second album by them that I've found, I'll upload their debut if people like this one. I've been really enjoying both their albums so far. It clearly has heavily electronic influences, but I believe the actual production is entirely analog, all organs and that kind of thing. Whatever it is, it's awesome.
Robert Hood - Deep Concentration: The Grey Area Mix

This is minimal techno, so its appeal may be somewhat limited. But it's one of the deepest, thickest, most soulful pieces of electronic music I've ever heard. Robert Hood virtually invented minimal techno, if the internet is telling me the truth, and his wisdom and expertise shines through in this mix. It is absolutely masterful. I'm really, really glad that I ran across it, because I'm going to be listening to this for a LONG time. There's actually only 350 copies of this in existence, apparently, so you're not exactly likely to find it on Amazon. I recommend that you get it even if you don't intend to listen to it anytime soon ... it's pretty powerful, and you're not going to hear it anywhere else.
