Ben Nichols of Lucero - this is his solo album, it's honestly amazing. It's different from Lucero, but just as good.

So I just found an artist in my collection that I hadn't really listened to before now, called Soul of the Phoenix. I googled it, and it turns out that I got this stuff from the Sordo Music website God knows how long ago, because Sordo features artists every now and then as their own recordings. I've listened to the first of these albums that I'm posting, and it's fucking dope as hell. Part drone/ambient, part trip-hop, part dirty electronica, all awesome.

Tigers Jaw - Self Titled
