Thanks for the upload (also - in advance - the future ones  )! I greatly appreciate it.
Since I don't own any Zappa myself yet, but had thought of working my way into his catalogue before (only the disencouraging vastness of it keeping me from doing so), I'm happy with everything you might come up with. You seem to know your Zappa, so I trust in your judgement as to where to start best.

I have an incredibly hard time falling asleep quite often (thinking too much ought to be the culprit)
but I'm wondering if someone can tell me of an album or upload something that is just absolutely perfect for falling asleep to?
I'm not looking for something very wordsy or weird or out there in terms of originality.
I'm just looking for something that feels like a pillow and hums like the wind blown from a goddess of dreams.
Usually I just fall asleep to Pink Floyd, Nick Drake, Broken Social Scene, or like..very select albums but lately none of the above are cutting it.
Thanks!!

i find "aegetis byrjun" by sigur ros is really relaxing. on of those albums that's kinda gripping if you're in the mood for listening, but if you're tired it's relaxing enough to help you drop off. also, an album i might post if anyone's interested (although parts of it might be a little too heavy to help your insomnia) is "indian ink" by Meanwhile, In Communist Russia - it's like Mogwai-esque post rock, but with spoken word poetry over the top of some of it, read by a girl with possibly the most beautiful speaking voice i've ever heard.

Lately I've been using these two.
I've posted them before, but here they are again so you don't have to search the archives for them.

And on the complete opposite end of the spectrum...
Merzbow - 13 Japanese Birds Volume 1
--- Quote ---On the flagship release to his 13 month/13 cd
series Masami Akita, herein known as Merzbow,
returns to his drumset to accompany his complex
analogue noise. His prowess as a drummer rivals
his abilities as a noise artist making this an
essential and exciting entry into the Merzbow
cannon.
Merzbows 13 Japanese Birds is a 13 month/13 CD
set that begins January 2009 and ends February
2010. These are pressed in a limited edition of
1000 and once they are sold out they will not be
repressed.

Going with something with as little vocals as possible would probably work best. You could try Balmorhea - River Arms. Its a fairly quiet record, lovely violin and piano. Might let you float away into the night. You could also try the two albums I posted not too far up, Bosques De Mi Mente - Lo-FI and French Teen Idol - Enlightened False Consciousness. Those are both very beautiful with very few if any loud points.
