The M/F Thread 2009: The Quickening
K2DaWeezy:
I don't get this stuff, but I signed up for this site just so I could get in on it all. Are you guys able to upload an album and make it available for download? I'm totally down with that, but I don't even know if that's possible. Somebody tell me how it works. I don't want to miss out.
Catacombs:
First, decide what music you want to upload. Throw them into a folder and zip it (if you're on a mac, right click the folder and click 'compress file'. i don't have a PC so i don't know how you go about doing that). Then, go to www.mediafire.com (replace the ! with an i ) click upload files, upload without an account (unless you choose to make an account). Find the zipped folder on your computer, and it pretty much does it from there.
the_pied_piper:
For a PC highlight all files you want to archive and right-click. Click add to archive. Name your archive and press ok. Wait for files to compress into .rar or .zip (depending on your settings) and upload to www.mediafire.com (replace ! with i).
BrainToad:
If you happen to watch Scrubs, you would've seen this woman already. Kate Micucci recently played Stephnaie Gooch, Ted's girlfriend, on Scrubs where she also sang a few of her songs. She plays ukulele, guitar, and piano. Her songs are cute, immature and fun. I listen to this EP at least 2 times a week if not more to put me in a good mood. It just doesn't get old for me.
She also plays music with another actress, Riki Lindhom in a group called "Garfunkel and Oates". They haven't released anything, but Riki's youtube channel has all of their songs http://www.youtube.com/user/rikilind

If you like it, definitely consider buying the album. It's only $5 from CDBaby and iTunes. She's bound to get more famous, judging by the popularity she has gotten from just being on Scrubs.

When listening to this bands like Nirvana, Slayer, old Queens Of The Stone Age/Kyuss and Black Flag come to mind. Yes, it's THAT good.
