The latest strip is nicely drawn, but it essentially repeats the joke from 2060.
I'm pretty sure Jeph doesn't need to follow the forum to make sarky remarks about lots of words being expended on explaining how Marten feels. Jeph knows us all too well. You don't need to keep tasting the sea to know that it is wet and salty.

That image made me realize Marten doesn't have Raven's number on his phone. I don't know why he'd need to call her but I also don't know why he'd call Penelope.

Mom probably bought it for him when she came to visit. I bet she told him something about "I'm on Verizon now, and you've GOT to see my Veronica App!"
