--- Quote from: Tova on 21 Nov 2011, 02:13 ---I wonder if it really makes sense to feel that chest bumps and fist bumps are sillly, but high fives are perfectly normal...
--- End quote ---
Why would hands be flat if we weren't meant to high-five?

--- Quote from: Westrim on 21 Nov 2011, 03:20 ---He should get a job as a janitor- then he can do all the moping he wants. :-D
YES, I realize they're spelled differently.
--- End quote ---
Hah.
Janitor: "What? Janitors don't whine!"
Carla: *stares*
Janitor: "Oh, wait.. yes, thatīs our thing."
I love Scrubs :-)

--- Quote from: Renewman on 20 Nov 2011, 23:36 ---Maybe sex with Padma was the last thing he needed right now.
--- End quote ---
Sometimes the last thing you need is what you need most. I was once in a rebound relationship with a woman I was really into--we'd been friends for a long time before--and she had the good sense to dump me and tell me what I needed to do was go out and have a fling with a bimbo (her actual words). What with one thing and another we never did get back together, but it was the best relationship advice I ever got.
Marten needs to listen to Steve. He's just had great sex with a beautiful woman he likes, who likes him. What he's doing now is like eating a cupcake and then complaining you don't have 40 acres of farmland to keep you in food for the rest of your life.
And what's up with that "can't decide to be happy or sad" thing? Last time I looked, emotions weren't really that subject to choice, and aren't really exclusive. You just gotta feel what you feel, all of it, sometimes happy and sad and horny all at once.

--- Quote from: Loki on 20 Nov 2011, 21:40 ---And also arch-enemies of the Ellicot-Chathams, no less! What a twist!
--- End quote ---
Do you think Ms. Chatham has any enemies?
Living ones, I mean.
--- End quote ---
Yes. Vespavenger...
..who is .her estrtanged daughter, and Hannelore's previously unrevealed twin sister. After all, where do you think she learned how to create that robot? From her dad, of course.
A silly idea of course, but she does seem to have an obsessive personality.
Carl-E:
--- Quote from: Is it cold in here? on 21 Nov 2011, 00:50 ---Didn't Marten allude to chest-bumping when Tai gave him that quiz from her sexuality course?
--- End quote ---
Actually it was a high-five during sex with a dude.
Yeah, Marten'd gonna feel bad no matter what he's told. That' why they're called feelings. Talking about them can help, bu it takes more than that for them to change. He'll be able to get through it, and talking to Padma again will help some (at least he'll get the benefit of her angle on what happened), but it's not going to be simple!
I love this comic.
