Of course, if they were praying mantises, that would now be Padma's responsibility and none of Dora's damn business. (NB: They are not praying mantises)

Dora doesn't appear to know that Marten is now with Padma specifically - is this significant? I can't recall if she has met Padma, but she must surely know who she is given the working relationship between the shops. Perhaps knowing wouldn't affect her; but in any case there's a nice parallel that they have both dated people from tSB.
