"We pray for the long life of Chairman Mao" is the normal translation. More literally it is "We humbly wish Chairman Mao ten thousand years of boundless longevity" (which, apart from the humbly bit, is a conventional birthday greeting). "Long live Chairman Mao" would be simple and best in my opinion, because there is no hint of any idea of prayer in the original Chinese.
