WCDT New Year's Week 2012 (Jan. 2-6, 2091-95)
Interlude:
--- Quote from: BoDJangles on 02 Jan 2012, 22:01 ---All I'm reminded of is the hotdog bun scene from Father of the Bride.
--- End quote ---
YES! That's the first thing I thought of, too! Love that movie. :)

--- Quote from: pizzatzhaderach via Twitter ---If anyone is interested, I am the tiny judgy cashier in the latest QC. tinyurl.com/6mzhdxc (thaaaanks @jephjacques)
--- End quote ---
:D
(also I'm giggling at "tiny judgy cashier")
(also dat ponytail)
DSL:
I thought that was a ponytail on the cashier ... finally figured out it was a person shopping in the background.
Or were you talking about Marigold's ponytail, IDUHG?
iduguphergrave:
Yeah I meant Marigold's. She's so darn cute in the last panel :3
Sorflakne:
--- Quote ---I live in a rural area in the US, and if you know the right people you can get eggs in whatever quantity you want.
--- End quote ---
And if you keep your own chickens, you know they're fresh (and free!).
--- Quote ---Either way, that is a really androgynous cashier. (I'm pretty sure we've seen at least one man with lips like that... I have it in my head he was a goth...)
--- End quote ---
Eh, never crossed my mind for a second that it was a guy. Some women are just small A-cup even as adults.
And as someone said earlier, the females in QC have full lips, so that was a giveaway too :-P (don't remember the goth guy though...)
--- Quote from: safan999 on 03 Jan 2012, 00:20 ---registered just to say that this is pure fiction:
a girl can not get into a store for one item and just buy that one item. There will always be something else on sale or something they really really really needed.
--- End quote ---
You obviously haven't been reading the comic long if you believe that Mari (or any girl in the strip, really, from what we've seen thus far) falls into the 'stereotypical girl' category.
