Weird dreams you've had
Masterpiece:
I think the dream ended with me saying you do love me and him starting a smile, but I'm not sure if I added that scene after I gained consciousness or if it was genuine dream-state.
Grognard:
I have found that Percocet causes extremely odd dreams, but I can't remember them later.
Welu:
Hate those dreams where someone in your life does something to hurt you and then wake up genuinely upset. Brain, it didn't happen, you imagined it. Calm the fudge down.
Is it cold in here?:
I had one a couple of nights ago in which I explained to someone that when a skydiver deploys a parachute it does 200 horsepower worth of mechanical work slowing them down.
If that's not weird enough for you, that number turns out to be in the plausible range if it's a quick opening.
My subconscious is a strange place, not least in that it reports physics results in the English system.

To be fair, the brain has literally no mechanism for distinguishing fantasy from reality on a purely experiential level, the brain processes both identically. It is only through post hoc analysis that we are able to make comparisons. Even after having done so and come to a logical conclusion, on a deeply instinctual level the experience still registers the same. The line between "real" and "imagined" is thin and blurry at best.
