Getting hints of MOM Corp. from Futurama…maybe they created it together and hannermom bought out all or most of hannerdad's stock at some point?
Heck, the guy might be absent-minded or inattentive enough to have outstanding stock options that hannermom would really prefer he remained ignorant of.
