Deathproof was so bad compared to Planet Terror, I was happy when they decided to split them up for DVD release.

Are you guys kidding? Planet Terror was a piece of shit, it tried so hard to emulate old horror movies and got pretty much everything wrong. Death Proof on the other hand has the most entertaining car chases I've ever seen, and they take up a good third of the movie.
